With over 15 years of experience, we offer Blood Lactate Testing for anyone and can be conducted almost anywhere.

Understanding your personal training zones and performance benchmarks is key to maximizing performance. You'll be able to make workouts more accurate, improving your fitness faster, and saving time. Having objective, repeatable test data allows you to compare over time to assess the efficacy of your training.

You'll receive a comprehensive report, detailing exact outputs and heart rates at key benchmarks including Aerobic Threshold, Lactate Threshold, VO2 Max and your entire mapped lactate and heart rate curves You'll also receive a comprehensive body composition report, detailing key features including fat percentage, muscle and bone mass and more.

You can use the data to upgrade your own training program, or choose one of our programmes. We'll use your data to fully customise your workouts, and optimise the long term structure of your training periods.

What is Blood Lactate?

Blood lactate is a by-product of aerobic metabolism in the body. Lactic acid levels rise with increasing exersize intensity. In the bloodstream, lactic acid releases nitrogen, and the resulting blood lactate concentration is measured. It is the gold standard for repeatable, science based performance measurement.

Why does blood lactate matter in training?

By measuring your blood lactate levels at different intensities, we can pinpoint your lactate threshold; the point where lactate build up starts to impact performance. This helps us:
