Route Rules
We will again recommend the 12:00 rule at Cheaha State Park. If you reach the park after 12:00 p.m. (this is 44 miles into the ride), we recommend that you turn around and head back to Piedmont on your bike (thus completing 88 miles of the ride). This is to ensure you don't miss lunch/dinner at the Piedmont Civic Center and that you are off the course by dark!
What's Included
Light breakfast before the ride, fully equipped rest stops, deluxe post-ride lunch, 100% cotton custom t-shirt, lots of portolets, and hot shower after the ride!
Food
We will go lighter on breakfast food and focus more on providing a GREAT post ride meal. A light breakfast will be offered beginning at 5:30am consisting of bagels, cream cheese and peanut butter, SunBelt granola bars, yougurt, oatmeal and Red Diamond coffee. Lunch will be catered by none other than Classic on Noble, an award winning restaurant located in downtown Anniston. Classic will prepare pasta alfredo primavera for a meatless entree and pasta marinara with meat as another option. We will also have a fresh salad, bread, and cookies for dessert. Red Diamond will provide their famous tea and Buffalo Rock will provide soft drinks. These meals are included in your entry fee!
Rest stops will be fully stocked with pb&j sandwiches, pretzels, fig newtons, Powerade, water, and more.

Finish Timing
We will have chip timing. All riders "clock" will begin ticking when they cross the start/finish line headed out of Piedmont. Your time will be recorded again when you cross the start/finish line when you have completed your ride. We will post all of the times on our web site after the event. We will also be recording the amount of time it takes for riders to climb our famous "3-mile climb" to the top of Alabama at Cheaha State Park and will be awarding a King of the Mountain for the fastest climb!
Devotion
We know that having the ride on Sunday causes many to miss church. We will again offer a 15 minute devotional under the pavilion in front of the Civic Center at 6:45 a.m.
Event Photos
Birds Eye View will again be on hand to take photo finish pictures for you to view and purchase if you like.
